University of Wisconsin Nuclear Reactor
Analysis & Irradiation Facility Design

In order to support operation, upgrades and the design of new irradiation facilities, a comprehensive MCNP model of the UWNR core has been developed and benchmarked against operation parameters from the first core loading.

Ongoing efforts include an analysis of core burnup and benchmarking against new special-purpose measurements of neutron and gamma doses at various reactor locations.
